You will lead from the front and take control of service in our restaurant to ensure both you and your team deliver a warm and friendly welcome for all of our guests. Working hands on with your team you will ensure that they demonstrate knowledge and passion for our outstanding local food to make a memorable dining experience for all our visitors.
Your responsibilities
- To prioritise, organise and delegate to your team to ensure the service runs smoothly and that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience
- To liaise with the kitchen and other departments to ensure all guests needs are met and that we can maintain our exceptional customer service measures
- To oversee the main restaurant, bar, lounge and conference rooms and ensure the different customer needs are met in a timely manner
- To attend tastings and learn about all of the dishes on our menu to provide customers with up to date and accurate recommendations and advice
- To ensure we maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across all our front of house areas
- To develop a good knowledge of wine and drinks to enable you to recommend suitable drinks for our guests
- To train the member of the restaurant team to the required standard
- To serve barista coffee in our lounge areas
