About The Role
We are looking for a Landscaper to join our team at Tebay Services to perform hard and soft landscaping tasks, keeping our grounds and landscape to the highest standards and ensuring conservation and environmental protection as a priority.

Your day to day responsibilities will include;
- Cutting and strimming of grassed areas using ride on mowers, pedestrian mowers and strimmer’s.
- Control of weeds and invasive species
- Planting of bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
- Maintain verges, paths, boundary fences and stone walls
- Hedge, branch and shrub trimming and felling of trees up to 380mm diameter
- Pond maintenance and planting
- Basic maintenance of tools and equipment
- Additional maintenance duties during winter month’s including gutter clearance, drainage work or gritting.
- Ad-hoc duties as required
This is a part time role with the opportunity for overtime during peak season.
About You
You will need experience in a similar role or a relevant level 2 qualification.

You should be competent in the use of strimmer's, ride on and pedestrian mowers and be able to maintain them on a regular basis

The ability to work independently and efficiently is important as well as being able to cope with the physical demands of the role and be happy to work outdoors in all conditions.

You will need a basic level of IT literacy including Outlook, email and basic internet functions as our worksheets are planned and completed electronically.

An interest in conservation and environmental protection would also be an advantage
