About The Role
You will work alongside the trained butchers and the team members on our counters to ensure that all of our products are produced, packaged and replenished to offer our customers the best quality products and provide excellent customer service.

You will be enrolled onto a Level 2 Butchery Apprenticeship where you will begin to learn all the necessary skills and knowledge required to become a fully trained nose to tail butcher. 80% of this training will occur on the job with 20% of the time being spent off the job to support your completion of the course.

Your responsibilities alongside your learning will include supporting the Butchery team to complete orders for our customers, replenish our counters and fridges, supporting the production of our own brand products and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
About You
This is an ideal opportunity for sometome to start their career in Butchery and learn butchery skills on the job. No butchery experience is required but experience in working in a food handling or food production environment would be an advantage. Attention to detail, and great communication skills are important. Comfortable handling meat products is a requirement as is the enthusiasm to learn on the job.
