Our
Stock Controllers play an important role in supporting our department
managers to ensure that our products are available to buy, our stock is
managed effectively and wastage is carefully controlled.
As
part of your role, you will liaise closely with department managers in
placing orders, carry out stock counts, investigate any stock
discrepancies, track and reconcile wastage, organise internal stock
transfers and maintain accurate stock management systems.
You
will also support the department managers with he production of regular
stock reports and any other ad hoc information or reports as required.
This role is specifically to work within our Butchery department to assist the department manager with the following:
Invoice tracker and internal transfers
Price checking deliveries to current pricing to each supplier and then raising for credit notes
Excel spread sheet building to help look at cost pricing
Booking in meat deliveries
Updating stock take sheets with price changes and adding new lines where needed
